Quinta Do Paraiso - Al - Carvoeiro (Lagoa)

It was a bit steep walking from our apartment to the main area. But the pools were great and less crowded. The staff was so helpful, and the pizza restaurant on site was a surprise delight!

i found the bungalow we stayed in to be very outdated and in need of repair and bringing up to date this included all the appliences etc !we paid 141€ a night and feel the it was worth no where near that price , we looked forward to coming and found the weekend was ruined due to being placed in this bungalow .There were many things negative ie cracks and general appearence and dacor were extremely outdated ,appliences not working or hot to touch (fridge )therefore dangerous ,lack of utencils and items like dustpan brush , cups , etc ,no tv (after what we paid and also having young children )and probably the worse of all which ruined our weekend completely was waking up on our last night to hundreds of ants in bed !

as above !and when we complained at receptoin about the appliences we told they were fine i have never come across a kettle that boiled and not switch it self off therefore dangerous or a fridge that was hot to touch on the outside of the door and rubber sealing oor !

Magnificent views, loved perfect and peaceful setting.

It took only 10 minutes to walk to Carvoeiro bus stop.

The staff were really friendly, especially at the pizza restaurant, and the place felt really cute. Our room was spacious and clean. We loved the quiet vibes at the pool up top.

But the walk from our bungalow to the main area was kinda steep and tiring after a long day. The air conditioning in our room wasn't great, a bit uncomfortable at times.

We thought that the accommodation was very good and good value.We liked the location of our room near to the pool.The stay were very helpful and friendly, especially Richard who works in the bar.

It would have been useful having a phone in the room

Sweet as pools and a lovely vibe, but the walk from our villa was steeper than expected. Would recommend a car!

Great breakfast with many different ingredients, pretty friendly employees. Early check in and late check out. Pool bar and excellent pool. Absolutely perfect and exceptionally nice location in a well-kept area so close to the outskirts of the resort on a main road-there and larger, much cheaper supermarkets offering much better value for money. Nearby Tiffany's Sports Lounge Bar - great place to chill out.

No TV and telephone in the room, so there is no possibility to contact reception in case of need. The bathrooms are old and some of the apartment are located very far from the central structure and restaurants, making a car indispensable. One day we came back to the hotel and found the window opened, but nothing was stolen. We suppose that the people of the maid service forgot to close them when leaving the room.

The kids loved the playground and mini-golf. Walking back from our bungalow to the main area felt steep and tiring after a long day. Pools were clean with plenty of sunbeds around. Service was friendly, and staff made us feel welcome.

We stayed in the upper part of the complex where the pool area was much quieter. Lovely pool, lovely surrounds, great place to relax and enjoy the sunshine. Reception staff very helpful. Italian restaurant very nice and very reasonable.

Main pool bar was much better equipped than the one we stayed at. Cleaners came every morning at 10am. Not what you want on a relaxing holdiay! But they were very nice.

The room was outdated, the bathroom was old, smelly and had cockroaches.

The cleanliness, bugs and poor beds.

Fantastic Pool Area and Shuttle Service

We enjoyed our stay with excellent pool areas and a wonderfully vibrant atmosphere at the complex. The shuttle service to the bustling town made exploring local restaurants easy and enjoyable. The Italian restaurant on-site was a great option for takeaways. Our apartment needed some updates, and the air conditioning issue we reported was not addressed .
